Speakers Phoenix Media was originally scheduled to release their first issue in September, but for various staffing and medical issues, the magazine and the whole site release was more or less delayed until January 2026.
Though the TV station has officially been up for the last few months, its content hasn’t begun coordination yet, and the format and structure of the programming still has a major upgrade in the works that will be rolled out either later this week or next. The magazine, The Speakers Phoenix Journal, on the other hand, it was scheduled for release on the 7th of January, but recent delays in coordinating content have significantly delayed the launch enough that it appears the magazine will miss its inaugural January Edition or will at least be delayed somewhat in its release.
The good news with regards to the magazine is that it now will feature considerably more content under the new format. Borrowing from the SpeakersPhoenix.com Top Ten Lists model, Speakers Phoenix Journal will now be including a variety of interviews and reviews of hospitality-focused content specifically tailored to meet the needs of residents and tourists for the coming season, with more interesting options explored each month.
New technology is allowing the reporting staff at Speakers Phoenix to increase their outreach to interview guests, conduct reviews, collect fundamental research and outreach for each profile, topic, and trending content idea we track down and report on. It’s allowing us the opportunity to speed up the entire interview outreach process, the data collection and interpolation process, so we can synthesize our stories much faster, and with much more interest and value in each article or video. That scaling process is working out so well, we’re going to have an abundance of content that the Journal produces each month, much of it not fitting into the magazine but possibly ending up on SpeakersPhoenix.com directly.
So when is Speakers Phoenix Journal’s first copy hitting the digital order shelf? Stay tuned but our initial guess is probably not until February.
