June 14th, 2026 – As of 4:34pm local AZ time today, Speakers Phoenix TV began broadcasting over the internet full time showcasing Arizona’s best event stories, authors, public speakers, and businesses to start things off in the summer of 2026.

The launch of ‘Big Stage: Arizona’ starts this week with the first two episodes coming out Thursday and Friday showcasing two particular Arizona speakers and their different approaches to helping people solve some of the headspace challenges that often cripple our very best efforts and intentions.

Our reporters are starting out this week calling on businesses looking for stories for our first issue of Speakers Phoenix Journal, and we’ll be looking for businesses with good news to share for our launch during America’s 250th anniversary year edition, and we’ll be sharing those stories across a variety of our media outlets as we produce new shows and episodes for our TV, radio, magazine, and podcast broadcasts.

Founder Chris Cayer notes that this has been an extraordinarily long project to build and release with many more hurdles than he had originally anticipated. “I really hadn’t anticipated how much my health journey was going to impact us launching this platform, but it’s definitely been a big hurdle to overcome so far.” Cayer has suffered through a variety of conditions each contributing to chronic pain issues, chronic fatigue, and other challenges, and his family has also suffered their share of other issues as well over the last few years. “We’re all kinda like Weebles in that we may fall but we don’t generally stay down.”

While that may be the optimist in him speaking, his track record of overcoming medical challenges is long and impressive. From overcoming one of the worst cases of childhood tonsillitis in North America as a child to losing 17 teeth in an accident just a year later. He’s been blown up twice, shot once, hit in the head with an axe twice, and survived well over a hundred street fights facing opponents with almost every variety of hand weapons imaginable. He’s been hit by a van, fallen off buildings, and has received the ‘You only have so much time to live left’ speech from doctors each believing there was no way for him to recover from 13 separate infections from varying unnamed, incurable, or Multiple Drug Resistant diseases, and in each case he has enormously funny stories to tell about how he overcame what medical science said he couldn’t.

Speakers Phoenix Media LLC is his latest effort to bring his unique flair at reinventing entire industries with his unique way of changing the business models that either don’t work anymore or that never really did in the first place. Media in general has always been powered by either subscriptions or advertisers, with little to no imagination about how else they could make their money and support their audiences and communities. As Speakers Phoenix Media generally doesn’t rely on revenue models much from either, except to a limited degree for their magazine model or for their site or event advertisers, the models of pay-to-play media don’t have much clout here.

With Speakers Phoenix TV and Radio stations especially, you literally can’t pay to advertise there, at least not directly. You can’t even pay to have a show hosted there. You can sponsor the development of a show, but whether the show airs on one of their stations or not is not guaranteed. It may only be released on social media, as a podcast series, or get licensed to another network altogether, depending on a variety of other factors. Even the magazine only takes ads in their quarterly supplements, not in the magazines themselves, leaving only the events and the websites themselves as places where ads can be bought, neither of which represent big enough revenue opportunities for Speakers Phoenix Media to jeopardize its audience engagement numbers for a big payday, because that number simply isn’t going to able to outweigh all the other revenue models they use for that to make sense, and all of those revenue models depend on the audience growing and staying engaged, not repelled by controversial advertisers and their political demands.

So if your media tastes run more into learning more about Arizona, what’s interesting or trending locally, what is special about the local businesses, events, entertainers, and authors who make this state their home or their home away from home, then Speakers Phoenix will probably be one of your best finds in media in 2026.
